Transportation
Call it a "labor of love," or perhaps it's just the common thread within industrial design that has always involved automobiles, trucks, buses, trains and aviation. The immortals of industrial design all had a soft spot for the transportation industry, weather it was Raymond Loewy's award-winning streamlined trains, buses and automobiles, or the prolific and dynamic marine, railroad, automobile and even bicycle and snowmobile designs of Brooks Stevens. It seems we all want to express our innovations in the form of transportation.

, our involvement has included fire and emergency vehicles, semi and racecar trailers, suspension and steering systems and complete tiller cabs. The common required elements in transportation design include the strength to meet a variety of dynamic load factors, weight reduction to maximize efficiency and the interaction with and compatibility of systems within the design of the vehicle. These projects may be fun, but they are always challenging and they force us to remember our commitment to innovation and to embrace our vigor and passion.
